My summer bouquets


I would like to say good bye to all my kind and dearest 
blogfriends with some flower compositions 
I’ve made during summertime…




Ethereal purple-violet flowers of Ipomoea purpurea







Marigolds, white oleanders and 
wild morning glory with tapiens verbena.





Zinnias and bougainvilleas











Bougainvilleas  for our dinner table







Pomegranate, whild roses and oleanders with wild foliages










Campsis radicans (trumpet vine) and green grape vine foliage 




Lilies 



Some red bougainvilleas with lavender
from the city garden... 




And a photo from the beautiful sea ...



where we are having lunch 
and enjoy the first moments of our summer freedom!

    For a moment I was worried I thought you were saying goodbye forever - a month is fine - have a wonderful time, and see you when you get back. In the meantime we can enjoy your wonder flowers.

    Have a wonderful time! I too was worried you were going to stop blogging and I'm glad it's only temporary. Lovely photos. I also have trumpet vine and it's so lush and grows so incredibly fast!

    Ik dacht even dat je voorgoed afscheid van ons ging nemen.
    Maar gelukkig is dat niet zo.
    Wat heb je je vazen en vaasjes met prachtige bloemen gevuld. Een genot om naar te kijken.
    En de zee is altijd weer fantastisch.

    Really beautiful arrangements! When I was a little girl, my parents planted bougainvilleas on a stone wall that edged our property in Southern California. I remember thinking how strange it was to have such delicate-looking flowers among such sharp thorns!
